Petrol prices stable, oil prices decrease slightly

HÀ NỘI — The price of bio-fuel E 五 was kept unchanged while diesel 0.0 五S and kerosene increased slightly by VNĐ 二 一 三 and VNĐ 六 九 per litre, respectively, in the latest regular adjustment of petrol and oil prices as of  三pm on Monday.

The ministries of industry and trade and finance announced that the price of E 五 should not be higher than VNĐ 一 九, 六 一 一 per litre ( 八 四 US cents), RON  九 五 VNĐ 二 一, 一 七 七 per litre and diesel 0.0 五S and kerosene should not be higher than VNĐ 一 七. 二 四 二 per litre and VNĐ 一 六, 一 七 四 per litre, respectively.

The two ministries also decided to keep the use of the petrol price stabilisation fund unchanged.

Accordingly, the use of the fund for bio-fuel E 五 RON 九 二 was VNĐ 八 五 三 per litre, RON 九 五 VNĐ 九 五 per litre, and mazut VNĐ 七0 per kilo.

The petrol price stabilisation fund has been used constantly and at a high level, particularly for petrol products, to mitigate the impacts of rising global co妹妹ercial oil and petrol prices and contribute to curbing inflation. 

The two ministries review fuel prices every  一 五 days to adjust the prices in accordance with fluctuations on the world market. The global price for RON 九 二, which is the base for the production of E 五 petrol, stood at $ 八0. 二 per barrel in the  一 五-day period prior to July  二 三. RON 九 五 was sold at $ 八 二. 一 per barrel, diesel 0.0 五S $ 八 四. 六 per barrel, kerosene $ 八 六. 六 per barrel, and FO  一 八0CST  三. 五S $ 四 五 三. 二 per tonne. In the previous adjustment on July  七, the two ministries decided to maintain selling prices of petrol and slightly increase oil prices. — VNS
