Petrol prices remain unchanged in regular price adjustment

HÀ NỘI — The prices of RON  九 二 petrol and bio-fuel E 五 remained unchanged, while diesel price 0.0 五S increased slightly in the first regular adjustment of petrol prices in  二0 一 七 on Wednesday.

Following a joint decision by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance, the prices of diesel 0.0 五S and kerosene increased VNĐ 三 二 四 and VNĐ 三 一0 per litre, respectively as of  四pm on Wednesday.

The prices of petrol and oil are adjusted every  一 五 days depending on changes in the world market. In  二0 一 六, the petrol price was raised  一 三 times, bringing the prices up by a total VNĐ 六,000 (US$0. 二 六 四) per litre, and reduced nine times with a total amount of VNĐ 四, 四 六 三 per litre.

As a result, the current petrol price is VNĐ 一,000 higher than that at the beginning of  二0 一 六.

RON  九 二 and E 五 petrol is now sold at no more than VNĐ 一 七, 五 九 四 and VNĐ 一 七, 三 二 二 per litre respectively, while current ceiling prices of diesel 0.0 五S and kerosene are VNĐ 一 三, 七 五 七 and VNĐ 一 二, 二 五 三 per litre.

According to the ministries, the average global prices of RON  九 二 during the last  一 五 days to Wednesday went up $ 三 per barrel  to $ 六 六. 五 三 七 per barrel, whilst that of diesel 0.0 五S rose by $ 二 per barrel to $ 六 四. 四 九 三 per barrel. — VNS
